Culture Contest 2014 will take artistic productions to the World Cup

The contest Culture 2014 for the selection of artistic and cultural works to be presented during the World Cup 2014, 
is receiving applications until September 23. Will be selected more than 200 works in various areas, including audiovisual
 production. The entries must be made ​​exclusively by the system SalicWeb, available on the website of the Ministry of 

Culture.

Can participate in the contest individuals and corporations under private law, with or without profit, and groups not
constituted legally. According to the Minister of Culture (Minc), Suplicy, the idea of ​​the contest is to leave a legacy
image for the country, helping to spread the diversity of Brazilian culture during the event.

The Culture 2014 provides for investments in four areas of the pillar cultural contents, the Action Plan of the Ministry
 of Culture for Major Events: Brazil Creative, that includes activities related to the creative industries such as fashion,
 design, architecture and gastronomy Diverse and Brazil, encompassing traditional manifestations ,
between Points of Culture activities and valuation of assets.

The competition will also include the Brazil of Arts for art exhibitions in the fields of music, theater, circus, dance,
 literature and visual arts Audiovisual and Brazil, which will support 12 unreleased productions with 26 minutes long,
fiction or documentary.

Audiovisual works

Audiovisual works produced with funds from the Culture 2014 should be delivered until April 7, 2014, and their views will

 take place in the World Cup host cities: Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP), Belo Horizonte (MG) , Curitiba (PR), Porto

 Alegre (RS), Salvador (BA), Recife (PE), Natal (RN), Cuiabá (MT), Brasília (DF), Manaus (AM) and Fortaleza (CE).

The project proposal should include audiovisual direction (in the case of animations, should also include a storyboard),

 proof of the curriculum director, script, Statement of Authorship Own, copy of certificate or protocol requirement of the

 Certificate of Registration of the Roadmap, issued Foundation for the National Library (BNF), and letters of consent of

 those responsible for spaces intended for use as leases, if any.

Projects will be evaluated according to quality, staff qualification, transversal (ability to cover different languages, 

sectors, areas or cultural segments) and mobilization, coordination and exchange between groups / artists from different

 regions and municipalities of the country
